PTFE Cut Wires are used as a cold-cut wire on Vertrod and Therm-O-Seal impulse heat sealers to separate plastic film after sealing. The PTFE coating provides and non-stick surface for clean, consistent cutting.
The wire is installed onto a silicone rubber pressure bar and is intended for mechanical cutting only. It is not designed to carry electrical current.
All listed sizes are stocked and ship within 1–2 business days and are available as 25 ft, 50 ft, and 100 ft rolls or pre-cut pieces.

PTFE Cut Wire is not designed to carry electrical current. The wire is installed on a pressure bar over a silicone rubber backing and is intended for mechanical cutting only. Applying electrical current directly to the wire will cause it to fail and may damage surrounding components.
