PTFE Covers are designed to be compatible with Vertrod heater bars and pressure bars, providing a non-stick barrier between the sealing element and the material being sealed.
Each cover is punched with holes spaced precisely 2-9/16″ center-to-center for perfect alignment with factory mounting configurations and to ensure a secure fit and smooth operation.
Available as individual cut pieces for specific models or in 36-yard rolls. Additional widths, thicknesses, and lengths can be requested here.
The most common cover thickness is 0.006″. For applications using PTFE cut wire, 0.003″ is occasionally used. For setups with round nichrome wire, thicker covers like 0.010″ or 0.014″ are typically preferred.
